I have known Michele for years, and her writing and singing never cease to amaze me. In my mind, she will always be, first and foremost, a great blues singer. Yet here she is, proving once again that her talent refuses to stay in one lane — playing the washboard with all the joy and mischief you would expect from someone who was simply born to perform.

Get well soon, Michele. The blues needs you back.
